About Me

About me: I am an experienced pediatric speech-language pathologist who is passionate about helping kids enhance their communication and make their voice heard! My experience includes 12 years of working in a wide variety of settings including the schools, outpatient clinics, home health, and private practice. I have previously managed, and helped to grow, a new speech department in a clinic setting, and recently decided to branch out on my own to help serve families and school districts in need of services directly.  That's how Elevated Communication, LLC began in 2022! 

I have extensive experience in supporting communication needs in children including: experience in evaluating and obtaining AAC devices,  and use of collaborative and wholistic AAC implementation; apraxia of speech, articulation disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, as well as social-pragmatic language disorders.  I have over five years of supervising speech-language pathology graduate students in their practicum, speech-language pathology assistants (SLP-A's) as well as SLP-CF's (speech-language pathologists in their fellowship year).  I also have utilized teletherapy sessions for implementing speech-language services for four years, with an array of age groups from ages four to twenty.  

My practice is dedicated to supporting schools in need of services in order to provide the best support to students and the staff directly supporting those students, as well as families who would like speech-language services for their child.
